Well it’s that time of the month again to say – hello monthly favorites. The best products in my eyes from the past 31 days {or 32 by the time you read this}. How has your month been treating ya? This month I was introduced to a few new faves, and a few oldie but goodies. An orange creamsicle dream for the face, topped with a dry skin savior and a repurchase that has driven me purchase crazy… Sit back, relax, and enjoy. Ladies and Gents it is now time for the July Favorites Edition…
So the favorites for this month tend to be more skin than beauty. Since the weather out here in California has been very dry, or gloomy- the weather has seriously been wrecking some major havoc on my skin. Dry one day, oily the next- best part is that it’s never in the same spot- can you say weird. First things first, I had a bad case of some major cystic acne a few weeks back, and the Mario Badescu Buffering Lotion, has really pulled through. At first this was a bit of an hmmmmm product as I wasn’t too sure what to exactly do with it. It’s like an oil, yet a treatment, yet feels like grease. Majorly stunned. This little beaute in a bottle helps shrink the acne, help with the inflammation, and not even kidding you it helps the spot literally almost disappear overnight. You are supposed to shake the bottle until the sediment is mixed completely. Then you apply. It smells like sulfur {one of the major ingredients} but it seriously has some mad power skills overnight. You know me- I love a miracle worker. Next up has been a major life saver. So as I said above, the weather has caused my skin to do a freak out session, and then I fell in love with this product {here} One Love Organics Supercritical Chia Oil, has been my saving grace. This little bottle is a “work wonders” item. It helps balance the skin, fight wrinkles, and helps with curing acne- Ummmm… hello Mr. Multi-tasker. AH-MAZING!!!! I can see this being mentioned many, many more times this year in the favorites. Which brings me to my last item in the skin care bunch is my orange dream in a tub {here} Origins GinZing Moisturizer, a gel like moisturizer that has fast absorbing power, a dreamy orange juice like smell, and it actually boost the skin. On ultra- dry days I have been adding a few drops of the Chia Oil to make a souped up concoction that helps keep my skin hydrated but not greasy like a disco ball. This month’s skincare bevies are turning out to become Holy Grail item– A show stopping trio that’s not going to leave my grasps any time soon.
As promise not everything was skincare this month. I did have two stand out products that I have been using immensely lately. First up is the Bobbi Brown Cosmetics Pot Rouge in Powder Pink, this neutral, pink is absolutely beautiful on the cheeks and adds the perfect amount of color onto the lips {as in your lips but better status}. I have been seriously having some Bobbi Brown love {here}. I am not sure still why I lost my love affair with Bobbi, but lately this multi-tasking beauty is in serious rotation. A quick dab on the cheeks and a tap on the lips and you’re ready to go- effortlessly. Rounding out the favorites this month is slightly on the pricey side but well worth the month- I promise your checkbook won’t be happy, but you will thank me… Chanel Double Perfection Lumiere Long Wear Powder, hands down AMAZING!!! A medium to full matte-like coverage, feels weightless on the skin, and dare I say it… It’s CHANEL. The beautiful, classic packaging and the timeless “CC’s”. It’s just beautiful and well worth the cash spent {$53 USD}. SO there you have it- another month down, another favorites in the books. What are some of your favorites this month?
