Its that time again… The month has ended and its time for me to share with you my go-to products for the month of April. By the end of the month I usually have a bathroom counter full of things that are in my must reach arsenal of items. {My counter top by month end looks like a beauty counter was dumped on it… Although a organization video is to come…} This month I have fallen in love with some of the most random things {perfume, nail polish, mascara, blossy {balm + glosss}, face wash and night time cream…. whew.. that was a mouth full}. These items have been either in my bathroom, dresser countertop {within reach at all times} or in my shower. And let me tell you, none have seized to amaze.
Essie Nail Polish this month has been a current OBSESSION; slightly turned into a addiction. The Spring Resort 2013 collection is absolutely to die for and hands down AH-MAZING!! I have fallen IN love with the color “In the CAB-ANA“. It is the perfect aqua that is sure to grab tons of attention. I cant even tell you how many compliments that I received on this polish. Wear time was the usual 5 days with minimal tip wear; however I learned that because I tend to wash my hands often {germ-a-phob} that I actually am lessening the life of my polish by a few days. {So note to self: if you wash your hands a ton; don’t expect the total 7-8 days}. Maybelline Baby Lips have been within my reach at all times; all day long. I have one in my car, one in my desk, two in my purse and one on my night stand. This lip moisturizing formula is hands down phenomenal. It is subtle in color {the one on my nightstand is in the clear..} and you can literally feel how moisturizing it is. It contains Shea Butter and literally helps renew your lips. {LOVE}. Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau so Fresh is one of my all time favorite scents. So when I was at Sephora not too long ago and saw a new bottle of it. I had to have it NOW! Enter Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau so fresh Sunshine; this limited edition for the Spring/Summer is literally one of my FAVES! I have been sporting this everyday for the past month, and get sooooo many compliments on it daily. The bottle is the classic daisy bottle but with beautiful hot pink, neon orange, bright green and yellow flowers. The scent is divine, and is the perfect mix of pink grapefruit, jasmine and lily. I will be probably stocking up on another bottle {or two} as this is limited edition and I am IN love with it. {way too great to let go}
KORRES Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial , has been the most wonderful skincare find I have found this month. The scent of this moisturizer is PHENOMENAL! It has the most perfect scent of roses, and is thick in texture yet it absorbs into the skin quickly. Your skin will literally drink it up; as it is helps brighten this skin all while you sleep. It helps even the skin tone perfectly, and leaves you waking up radiant and beautiful. Overnight you see a different immediately. My skin is soooo supremely soft in the morning after using this, it is literally amazing! My skin lately has been going through various changes {dang California weather.. thanks Mother Nature} my skin is absolutely in need of some sort of R&R . So I went out and bought a oldie but goodie product from my old skincare arsenal. Enter Mario Badescu Botanical Facial Gel, this facial gel cleanses my skin deep down to the pores without drying it out. It helps remove the various amounts of makeup that I am testing at any given day without making my skin dry and flakey all while helping prevent build up of pores and black heads with the help of Alpha Hydroxy. Right now this is a perfect solution to my skin freak-out session. And last but not least I have two different mascaras that I am totally LOVING right now. My favorite tried and trusty L’Oreal Telescopic Shocking Lash Extension, this mascara has been my mascara go-to since it was released. It lengthens lashes beautifully all while ensuring they are clump free and giving a beautiful dramatic feel. I LOVE this mascara…. however since watching the MTV Movie Awards and the buzz on twitter that evening in regards to the new Revlon Lash Potion, I have been lusting for this product. So to my surprise when I went to Rite Aide and saw that it was there finally I knew that I need it NOW. So I have been using this mascara for the past week, and have praised its love {here}. And I LOVE it so far. This formula is a lengthening and volumizing formula. The brush reminds me of the Armani Eyes to Kill; just a huge, HUGE fraction of the price. And let me tell you the formula will NOT disappoint you. It may be a bit premature to have added to my April Favorites but I couldn’t leave it out since I LOVE it so much now. Its great wear time, its clump free, made with unicorn tears {if you have seen the commercial you will get it} and it is very, VERY spellbinding and perfect. {And I mean who doesn’t want a mascara made with unicorn tears?!?} That wraps up this months favorites… what are some of your April favorites?!?!
