When I stopped by Nordstrom’s a few weeks back to do some solid retail therapy at the Anniversary Sale, I was perusing through the beauty section while waiting for my appoint for pre-sale. Of course me and the beauty department mean money, money, money being spent-I think I have a makeup addiction. Anyhow, I stopped by the CHANEL counter to pick up a few items and saw Les Beiges Healthy Glow Fluid SPF 15 on display.
Les Beiges was hands down one of the launches that tops the list of my favorites last year. 2013 CHANEL launched the collection with Giselle as the spokesmodel-of course gorgeous and tan as ever. A “Healthy Glow” collection that promises to light up the complexion with a sheer glow like a bronze goddess glowing tan. I had read about CHANEL launching the Les Beiges Healthy Glow Fluid with SPF 15, and I seriously couldn’t wait for it to launch in the States. Well the wait is over, and now its time to pen my thoughts.
Les Beiges Healthy Glow Fluid with SPF15, is hands down amazing. The perfect companion to a weekend beauty look as it helps provide the skin with a light to medium coverage that helps add that oh-la-la glow. The coverage is aimed at those not wanting a heavy foundation, but a tad bit more coverage than a tinted moisturizer. I have the shade N40, which is super dead match to my natural skin tone. I have been using this mainly on good skin days, as if you are looking to hide any imperfections or problem areas- then this is NOT going to have the coverage you want.
I feel that it is for sure something that is aimed at those who have a tan or looking to help extend the tan a tad with a light glow. In terms of days I want a light feel on the skin but a more solid coverage- I am sticking to my IT Cosmetics CC cream. Layered under another foundation this helps add a gorgeous glow from within like look minus the shimmer. In terms of it being a need or must have? Its more of a splurge, although the Autumn CHANEL collection is looking like a MUST have in my eyes- until then I dream of CHANEL…
