This month I was scratching my head over what to throw into the ‘Beauty Bag’. So far the weather is starting to really amp up and feel like Fall. With my recent monthly favorites, thrown in with a non-stop fashion week stream via social media, I cant help but call this beauty bag a bit of a multi-tasker. Several beauty bits that can be used both day and night, multiple looks, and a moisturizing lip product to help lock in moisture and prep for night- You know me… I am all about a multi-tasker. So with that being said, its time to jump right in and get a bit creative; I welcome you to October’s Beauty Bag…
First things first… when it comes to fall there is nothing better than perfect, flawless skin. Topping the runways with just brilliantly, impeccable skin- this beauty bag starts with a little slice of skin care. Lately I am all about anything that promises clear, brighter, oomph-ed up skin. Elemental Herbology Facial Glow– $64 USD, is an absolute must have for fall. With the weather changing and the summer tan starting to fade, it often brings congested skin issues with it. This 4 minute wonder in a tube is AH-MAZING. Smoothing away dull, flaky and congested skin this mini peel has a unique combination of enzymes, vitamins and AHA {Alpha Hydroxy Acids} to help improve the skin in minutes. Bonus- it help reduce aging and pigmentation. Unblocks pores and improve the skins overall appearance almost instantly. I am absolutely obsessed with this product; it will kick my skin into tip top shape and ready for the Fall weather. Rounding out perfect, flawless skin is a oldie that I repurchased recently. Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Fresh & Hydrating Cream Compact SPF 15– $58 USD, is a bit of a skin loving miracle in a compact. Now I am not usually one to like cream compacts since I usually don’t think they are good. Splotchy upon application and usually not long lasting; however this one is PHENOMENAL. This water based formula is a bit more coverage then the actual foundation itself. It goes on skin creamy, and beautiful with a radiant, long lasting formula. It is so super light that it feel superb on the skin, and literally allows skin to be beautiful and flawless. What better way to jump into fall then following the flawless skin trend. Instant Love…
As reported last week eyes for fall I tend to keep a bit simplistic. Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Palette– $52 USD, is absolutely the one must have item. 7 shades of beautiful rich brown, neutral goodness this palette can take you from day to night, from the board room to happy hour- even with a bit of sparkle! Completely, utterly obsessed with this palette and can for sure see it being a must have for fall. What better way to welcome fall, then with a bit of a neutral eye, paired with a good heaping of mascara? Coating my lashes this month will be L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara– $7.99 USD, this ultra black mascara with a solid coats slapped on the lashes is just beautiful. The Voluminous mascara is hands down the most amazing drugstore mascara ever- rivaling a favorite Armani Eyes To Kill- I am talking to you… The brush helps the lashes stay soft, clump free and the formula is ultra building to give you those perfect false looking lashes.
Rounding out the October Beauty Bag is a bit of a lip loving action. A huge fall trend on the runways was a bold, dark lip. When going for the dark and bold the best way to start the lips is to prep the lips. Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15– $22.50 USD, is probably the most amazing, luxurious lip treatment ever. A great combo of oils, waxes and real sugar this lip treatment nourishes, protects and plumps the lips. A swift coat of this lip treatment and trust me your lips will be prepped for perfection- I promise your lips will thank you… A bold lip for me, has me channeling my inner vamp and reaching for MAC Cosmetics Lipstick in Hang Up– $15 USD. This color is beautiful on the lips, you can sheer it out for a light wash of berry or layer it on for a maximum amount of bold lip drama. Voila- instant fall trend loving.
So into my multi-tasking stash these products go. I reckon I am armed and ready for fall – from flawless skin, to a bold lip- bring it on Mother Nature…
