Hellooooooo Monday everyone!!! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I know that I was being a lazy bum all weekend and just enjoying the wonderful California weather that we have been having. There is nothing like a perfect day of weather and enjoying friends, fun and a cold Corona Light {love}.

This weekend I went out and about looking for the perfect Spring makeup update {post to come} and came acrossed some of the most AMAZING Spring lip colors that are VERY wearable. {Lord knows I love the runway makeup; but lets be honest… its not everyday wearable}. The past months in various fashion weeks from New York to Paris we have seen some of the most AMAZING lips. Bright in color, juicy satin finish, and just the prettiest punch colors. {LOVE}.

When it comes to a beauty trend; lips are literally one of the fastest ways that you can totally update your look. However be careful NOT to try to incorporate ALL the Spring Trends all at once…. you can end up looking like a clown if you do {anyone remember Mimi from the Drew Carey show?!?} A great simple rule when doing BRIGHT lips is to choose that area {lips} to be the focus area of your look. I am a HUGE believer in a simple nude eye {just a tad of color in crease to add some dimension} a swipe of eyeliner, highlighted cheeks with a pop of color, and that beautiful punch colored lip. Voila…. AMAZING!! Pretty, perfect updated Spring Lips!!

This past week at Rite Aide, Walgreens and CVS they had an AMAZING sale on cosmetics. All Revlon, Covergirl, L’Oreal, were on sale buy one get 50% off. So of course being the beauty addict that I am …. I bought plenty {drugstore spring makeup makeover coming soon}. The colors are AMAZING, the finishes are a satin, glossy punch of color. They are truly wearable EACH and EVERYDAY without looking cray cray!!!

These colors are seriously PHENOMENAL!! They have the best pop of color without being too scary or too much for an everyday look. They all are buttery feeling on your lips, they have ultra hydrating properties, and wear for about 4 hours depending on what you are doing {i.e… drinking, eating, etc…} All of these are a sheer in coverage. If you are like me and are slightly skeptical at first of the bright lip trend; then I HIGHLY recommend these products. The color is just the perfect amount, more than a chapstick but not as drastic as a lipstick. 

{While I was at the drug store I also picked up some lip sticks with a more full, pigmented coverage. Post to come soon}
