Recently I have been having a love affair with coral nail polish. Not sure if it is because Spring is in full effect or that Summer is literally a few days away from starting. There is nothing like a fresh set of manicure nails, base coat, 2 coats of polish, finished off with the ultimate shiny top coat Seche Vite. There is something about coral nails that makes me feel slightly elegant as its almost red and classic but with a slice of spring. Coral nails will be a huge go-to this season for me…. so lets see what coral polishes made the list…. drum roll please…
The Nude Coral: Essie Nails Tart Deco– a slightly nude-ish coral with a pop of color. Two coats of this and your ready to jump into spring.
The Orange-y Coral: Julep Gloria– a orange cream coral. The brush on Julep polishes is one of my favorites. Goes on perfectly. The color in two coats has remarkable pay off. LOVE!!!
The Coral-ly Pink: Essie Cute as a Button– not too pink, not too coral– just right! This juicy coral persimmon with the perfect amount of color payoff. This is a serious must have for upcoming summer pool parties.
The One Coat Coral Wonder: Essie Come Here– I have praised the Essie Resort Collection for 2013. The rich colors are amazing. And this nearly neon coral does NOT disappoint. Literally one coat of this and you are done. I have worn this color many times since I have picked it up; and can see it becoming a vast favorite in my collection.
The Blushing Coral: Essie E-nuf is E-nuf– This blushing coral is AMAZING on. It is a bright coral that is a bit more like a juicy watermelon coral than a blush. The color payoff is phenomenal and easily can become a nail grail product.
The coral nails roundup is coming to an end; the hard part will be deciding which one to wear on its own. All colors will be in serious nail rotation this season and into the next. Heck I might even break the stereotypes and make coral a year round color of choice…We don’t always have to follow the rules, right?!? And so the love affair with skittle colors continues…….
What is in your spring/summer nail rotation?
