So if you are an avid reader of mine, you might notice that I have a bit of a love affair when it comes to blush. I think that I at times can’t seem to get enough. It enhances those cheek bones, and adds a bit of radiance to the face. I often tend to stay within my comfort zone and reach for a peachy pink like option, however recently I find myself reaching for a few others depending on the look I am going for. Without further ado, I bid you to my Beauty Notes: Cheeky Cheeky…
Something about a peachy pink blush just gets me going. I am not sure if it is the added oomph of warmth that just tickles my blush world; or if it is just the thought of a neutral beauty on the cheeks. From the moment I set my eyes on the MAC Cremeblend blush in Pleasureful-$21 USD, it was instant love. This warm peachy pink colored blush is absolutely beautiful on the cheeks. I am slowly becoming a huge fan of crème blushes as the formula in this MAC beauty is long lasting. The only problem is that this shade was a limited edition but a perfect dupe would be NYX Cosmetics Rouge Cream Blush in Rose Petal. Both shades are beau-ti-ful!!! Sticking with cream blushes, another blush that has been a major go to have been KORRES Cheek Butter in Philia Rose– $25USD, is just a beautiful pink rose blush. It is literally like butter on the cheeks. Upon application it melts into the cheeks like skin and has a sheer finish that just is gorgeous.
One powder blush that I have been having a serious love affair is Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush inBlushing Bride– $26 USD, now the color in pan looks super, duper dark and a bit frightening as it seems almost purple-ish. But OMG on the cheeks it is the most beautiful flush of color ever. It is described as a plummy rose color, but it literally looks like a natural flushed cheek on everyone from the palest of skin tones to the darkest. It is super versatile and super beautiful on. Obsessed!!! NARS Blush in Deep Throat– $29USD, is probably one of my favorite blushes of all time. The color is like peach with a bit of shimmer, and is soooo AH-MAZING on the skin. It’s very soft and sheer on the skin and very natural looking. This color looks phenomenal on all skin tones and can be layered for more color. Hands down a must have in my fall beauty bag!!!
Rounding out the blush choices for fall is Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee in Berry Bliss– $22 USD, this hybrid blush is gorgeous and perfect to pair with a bit of matchy, matchy cheeks and lips for fall. It’s a beautiful deep wine, berry color that just adds a nice pop of color to the lips. This wonderful gel like blush gives the look of a perfect cream blush application with the longevity of a stain. They are hands down AMAZING!!! So good for the skin, and perfect to amp up any look for fall. Major blush obsession…
So there you have it a few cheek choices for fall; whether you are looking for a cream, a gel or a powder there are various options to keep skin flushed with a bit of radiant. A bit of peach with a side of pink, a rosy plum or a deep berry- either way you are covered. Time to dust on the blush, throw on a bold lip- Fall is going to be a beautiful one…
