Since we are kicking off Earth Week in full force over here at MLL Headquarters, I decided it was time to bring out one of my favorite products that I have been using for quite some time now on and off for the past few years- Kiehls’ Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado, now this stuff years back was my end all be all to eye creams winning the solid stamp of adoration from me. However for some reason after countless refills, and a change in my skin I changed things up and started reaching for the Midnight Recovery Eye Treatment, that is until now…. It’s back in full force, let’s talk about why…
When it comes to eye creams I am one to look for something that ticks all the boxes for me- hydration, effective and doesn’t slip or move towards the eyes at all. Since the eye area is the most sensitive and delicate area out of all of our skin, hydration is something that is a MUST- especially as the years rack up and I get older– hydration is KEY. Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado is just the product to do that. Rich and hydrating with a cream like texture upon touch but once you apply and dab into the skin it almost takes on a bit of a watery like texture delivering moisture and hydration to the eyes. Add in a side of Avocado to it, and you’re getting some extra antioxidant benefits to help alleviate and prevent dryness, fine lines and wrinkles. Honestly this stuff is AMAZING! It is super light and almost weightless on the skin, extremely gentle for the delicate eye area, super effective in delivering moisture and its Ophtamologist and Dermatologist tested- no wonder it is one of Kiehl’s best sellers.
This year in honor of Earth Day, Kiehl’s is donating $50,000 to Recycle Across America– can you say AWESOME? Recycle Across America will utilize those funds to create 65,000 standardized recycling labels to 650 K-12 schools within the United States. In funds that will be donated are being raised from this years Limited Edition Label Art Series of the Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. This year the art being featured is from Elizabeth Olson and Maggie Q. This year the gorgeous packaging is simply AMAZING- as you can see above on the Maggie Q version- both designs from Maggie Q and Elizabeth Olson are earth inspired created in collaboration with well-known artist Fernando Mastrangelo. I am seriously OBSESSED with this Limited Edition design-it is fun, ecofriendly and ultra-soothing- and of course my favorite eye cream is housed inside of it.

I am in love with this eye cream. I am on my third tub of it. It has been the only thing I have ever found that keeps my eye area from being dehydrated (not a good look at all). I wish the limited edition design was in the smaller pots though. I tend to only buy the small size because the jar design allows a lot of contact with oxygen and can mess with the efficacy of the product. I haven’t found this to be a problem with the smaller size though.
