Every year my family and I get all geared up to enjoy the weekends and indulge in some good old NCAA® March Madness. These 5 step slow cooker pulled pork sliders can be made while you get the house ready and dressed. The perfect companion for all upcoming sporting events, and family get togethers. - 3-4 pounds Boneless Pork Loin Roast {Pork Butt} Trimmed of all visible excess fat
- 12 fl. oz Can of Coca-Cola Zero You can also use regular Coca-Cola if you wish
- 1 bottle BBQ Sauce I used Sweet Baby Ray's Original BBQ Sauce
- 1 or 2 pinches Sea Salt and Black Pepper Add to Taste
- 1 or 2 pinches Larry's Seasoned Salt- The Original
- Rinse Pork Loin Roast off, pat dry with paper towel
- In Crock Pot /Slow Cooker combined (1) 12 oz can of Coke Zero and 1/2 bottle of BBQ Sauce *Please NOTE the coke will fizz so pour slow*
- Season the pork on all sides with the Lawry's Seasoned Salt, Black Pepper and Sea Salt
- Add Seasoned Pork Loin Roast into BBQ + Coke Mixture
- Add Salt and Pepper and additional BBQ sauce on top of the pork loin roast once inside Slow Cooker Mixture of BBQ Sauce + Coke Zero
- Set Slow Cooker to the following settings: - LOW to cook Pulled Pork in 10 hours - HIGH to cook Pulled Pork in 6 hours Pick your cooking option, cover and allow pork roast to cook.
- Once Pork Roast is cooked. The meat will be tender enough to shred upon touch with two forks
- Serve pork with or without cole slaw on top, served fresh on mini hamburger/slider buns. Enjoy!!
The flavor of the pork can be adjusted based on Soda Flavor.
- If you wish to have flavor a bit more sweet in taste substitute Cherry Coke.
- If you wish to cut calories a bit more substitute Diet Coke.
**Please NOTE that change in the soda flavor will change the flavor of the meat**
