Hello June… May Favorites

Hello June… I know… I am a bit late to the posting of the favorites. {Partially in part due to the fact that I was having too much fun in Temecula this week at a Wine and Balloon Festival} .. So I decided better late than never right?!? Without much further ado…

My May favorites have been quick a bunch of lifesavers, that I have been probably the most excited about spreading the word about for some time now.  After testing out numerous products to get my skin prepped for the HOT summer weather that Southern California is dying to dump on us all.. I think I have finally found my new summer skin care {post to come soon on that}. But the skincare products of the bunch have literally saved my skin, helped take it from a oh-so dreaded reaction to something and transform it into summer skin ready.  La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo has literally been in constant rotation since my dreaded skin reaction. This miracle in a tube {seen here} literally helps clear skin up almost overnight. Containing 5.5 % benzoyl peroxide this power packed skin treatment has been my go to for breakouts lately. Paired with Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil I believe I have a winning team. The Lotus Oil has been key in helping re-balance my skin for the summer. Mixed with tons of essential oils, this Lotus Oil helps extract the impurities to make skin flawless, tighten the pores allowing them to look smaller, and Hazelnut oil to help diminish fine lines.. I absolutely LOVE this oil. I mix a few drops for extra strength action during the day to my day cream; and follow it at night with a few drops pressed into the skin after application of the Effaclar Duo.

Moving on to beauty products… I have been seriously obsessed with the Maybelline Studio Eye Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze,  this beautiful bronze, long lasting shadow has me lusting for more of these. Its like the perfect mix of bronze and a dark  golden flecked shadow. Goes on like a gel and dries like a powder. The staying power of this shadow is AMAZING… I dab a bit on my eyelids {keeping it neutral} and voila… ready to go. For extra depth it looks brilliant under the lower lash line smudged as well.  The part of these…. NO creasing. I was literally surprised that after 10 hours still NO creasing, even in the hottest of days lately. On lips lately,  Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfectors, have been a HUGE reach for. I am IN love with the formula of these.A mixed marriage of MAC lipglass & Revlon lip butters, these lip balms are PHENOMENAL.  They are seriously the most neutral, pop of color on the lips and the best part for me… NOT stick-y!!! They don’t feel tacky on the lips at all. They hydrate and nourish the lips perfectly leaving the natural looking fuller and shinier than prior.

A few new randoms that I have been in hard core rotation in my collection have been a nail polish wonder, and a trusty Spring scent. My newest find that I found randomly at the drugstore was the Rimmel London 60 second dry nail polish, I am HANDS DOWN obsessed with these gems. Outlasting even some of my previous go to polishes, these 60 second wonders are literally AMAZING!!! The brush is breath-taking and it covers nails perfectly. And the best part… 60 seconds and DONE!!! I am so IN LOVE with these nail polishes and am looking forward to countless drugstore stops to pick up all 42 colors. {LOVE}…. Topping off the favorites is a oldie but goodie. I have much LOVE for Stella by Stella McCartney. This scent has been in my rotation for the past 4 or 5 years. It is a much re-purchased item. The scent is just so classic and beautiful. It smells like roses mixed with the perfect amount of mandarin and peony. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the way it smells. I adore this scent and see it always being a season changing go to.

My favorites this month, sound extremely dreamy if I might say. A collection of products that are newbies, oldie go to’s mixed with a budget buy that I see myself buying over and over.A perfect bronze-y eye cream, mixed with a dynamic duo for skin saving. Yep…. I must admit it has been a great month. IN LOVE with all of these products…
