Ok, so today I am stretching my lazy weekend a bit, and wandering around without a scrap of makeup on my face- with one exception- concealer! There are those REAL NO makeup days- where literally there is NO makeup on the skin, however when the skin is acting up a bit- thanks to Miss Monthly– I have to step up the ‘no makeup’ look with a bit of concealer. For me concealer is just one of those things that I love to keep fully employed at all times, as it is also the key to helping keep things in the “barely there- but looking good & polished” category. And this new find is no exception- Josie Maran Argan Creamy Concealer Crayon…
Now I can go days without having to load the face to the 9’s. I can go a while without a batch of brow products and lip action- well except for lip balm its a MUST HAVE. I can even go without mascara on an occasion or two, but concealer? I just can’t- bags and blemishes need corrective action always in my eyes. I am one to like an easy brush and go action, however when I ran across this crayon action by Josie Maran, I knew it was a must try.
Enhanced with 100% Argan Oil, this concealer is one to help hydrate the skin- perfect for the under eye area , its medium yet build-able to slightly full like coverage is amazing and it adds an ever so slight brightening effect to the skin. I have the shade Medium 2, and I am soooo happy I picked this beauty up. Light on the skin in texture that it literally does the job with the dark circles. Just a light trace across the baggage area and a few pats with the ring fingers to add some heat-it melts into the skin like butter. For the blemishes the crayon action is amazing. Just a dab on the blemish, and light pat with the middle finger and voila- any redness that has reared its head- its depleted from existence. Easy peasy, right? This concealer is a bit of simple skin perfection. I dare you to try it– it will be love….

I’ve gotta go to Sephora or Ulta and try out this JM concealer. I’ve been searching for a concealer pencil that works ever since Benefit discontinued theirs years ago. Hoping it will cover up my sun damage!

I LOL’d at “baggage area”. I keep meaning to try this line. I wish it had better real estate space at Sephora. It’s usually at a smaller end cap at my local stores and I tend to forget about it.
