Sometimes a beauty routine needs a bit of jazzing up…. I will often buy perfume, fall madly, deeply IN love with it. Wear it just about everyday to then find a new perfume I love more. Hopelessly forgetting about the previous love I had for the perfume. Until one day I reach to my perfume tray and voila decide to jazz up the beauty routine with a new spritz. So now I bring you: My current perfume pairing.
I’ve been playing around with a few combos, trying to find the notes of each that complement one another. And alas I have found one. I am a self professed “product junkie”; so for me to be able to mix two of my favorite perfumes is a HUGE deal. Here is what I have been combo-ing up and currently obsessing over the perfect mix it makes….
At the center of each perfume is a combination of notes… Marc Jacobs Daisy, is a phenomenal blend of Red Ruby Grapefruit, Jasmine, Musk and Vanilla. Alone the fragrance is elegant and amazing. I get compliments on this scent often; its not too strong, goes on leaving skin smelling not too fruity and not too musky. One whiff of this fruity, musky scent and you will end up allured and IN love with it. Adding to this combo I have been pairing Prada Candy, this carefree fragrance leaves you feeling very girly. It is the perfect blend of caramel, musk and vanilla creating a pleasureful perfume that is insanely seductive. The caramel and musk blend well with the red ruby grapefruit and vanilla notes in Marc Jacobs Daisy. Vamps up the fragrances and adds a great sense of sweetness when paired without heading into sticky, candy-like {hello Pink Sugar} feeling.
There you have it; my perfect perfume pairing for Spring without getting too much of a sweet tooth. Spray, take a whiff and enjoy. What are some of your favorite perfume pairings?!?
