Pores? Who likes to see their pores? I for one am not one of those people. I tend to prefer a flawless, poreless complexion. Beautiful skin is usually the makeup of a great skin regime, and a bit of help from a primer before lathering on your best foundation. With so many primers to choose from, how do you know which one is the best complexion perfector? Through lots of trial and error, I think I may have just found a perfect pore hiding perfector. For this week’s installment of High vs. Low Beauty, I now bring you A Benefit POREfessional Dupe…Benefit POREfessional hit the shelves a few years back, and has been its number one selling primer. This balmy textured primer is a skin’s dream, as it cover imperfections and makes skin flawless. Controls oil like a champ and helps prolong makeups staying power. A cream like texture when applying on the skin, the POREfessional dries a bit matte and leaves skin velvety and smooth. However Benefit might be finding a run for its money.
Maybelline Baby Lips have been a solid drugstore staple for the past year. A super huge launch that had everyone jumping up and down. So when the new Maybelline Baby Skin– $6.99 USD hit the shelves, I was curious if it would be as amazing as their Baby Lips. The packaging is perfect and super hygienic since it is in a tube- lourve that! The formula itself is like that of a silicone gel to help smooth and blur pores and complexion flaws. It can be used under or over makeup, and the fact that it is fragrance free is even better.
Upon application this smoothing texture is amazing. Super nice on the skin so you don’t have to wear any foundation with it, unless you want to. It seriously smooths out the texture of skin, and allows skin to feel flawless to touch. It comes out of the tube a lot more gel like, and dries to a velvety smooth skin finish. Since it is a gel like formula it is the perfect primer for the combination to dry skin gals as it is silky on the skin. After a few uses of this primer it might be finding its way into my party makeup bag, since it packs a long lasting punch and skin looks super flawless.
With a golden price tag of $6.99 USD this primer is on the top of the budget buy primer list. Time to say bye, bye to those pores…

Bridgette you will love it!!! I will say DONT rub it on face but pat it into the skin. Helps a ton to cover the pores and make it not feel greasy since it does have a bit of silicone.
