O.M.G!!! As if this holiday season we haven’t gone through more than enough neutral palettes. It started with the launch of Bobbi Brown Rich Chocolate Palette, worked forward to the coveted launch of Urban Decay’s Naked 3, and now it is topping right off with the launch of this. A 15 pan strong NARSissist Eyeshadow Palette. Compacted and loaded with 15 of NARS best selling, much loved and very much needed neutral eyeshadows with one limited edition color. I mean really? Swoon…

I am not sure if a eyeshadow palette can get much better than this. Perfect in size and the best travel companion a girl can have, the NARSissist Eyeshadow Palette– $79 USD, is definitely something you want to run, not walk to your local beauty stop and snag. Holy Cow, the shades are just simply gorgeous to stare at, and of course look amazing on the lids. 15 shades of beauty, housed in their classic sleek black packaging with a pretty nice sized mirror. The price point might seem a bit high, but when you think a normal NARS eyeshadow is about $25 USD, this is a GREAT deal. I mean 15 shadows for around the price of 3 normal eyeshadows- amazing!!

Color wise you get a little bit of everything. A few mattes, some shimmers and glitter. The selection is good one, and can look amazing on some of the warmest skin tones. Warm coppers and bronzes to a few classic smokey shades of purple and grey- this palette is phenomenal. So far it is an all -around winner with range and selection. And let me tell you the color combos you can make are phenom- love… Standout colors for me tend to be Fez- a gorgeous coppery bronze, Ashes to Ashes- a beautiful shimmery lilac taupe color, Mekong-a dark, matte brown that has some gorgeous flecks of bronze shimmer, Lhasa- a dusty shimmery lilac shade that is like MAC club but with the lilac and taupe to it and last but not least Brousse- a aubergine like shade that is amazing on the lids. The only bit of a drawback is that they are a bit small in pan at 0.3 oz they are about ½ the size of the original single shadows at 0.7 oz; so you may find with a brush that you might mix some shades at times.
For I am loving this palette. Released nationwide on Feb 1st, it is sure to be a sell out. Limited edition, neutral shades, and the price is legit- I think NARS is killing it this year so far with their new releases. If you haven’t already placed your order, you may want to now. Mark my words- it will be a solid sell out.
