When it comes to clean beauty, I almost feel like within the past few years EVERY brand is on a mission to be “CLEAN“. However, do we really know what “CLEAN” truly is? While most times it depends on who you ask to really find out what is considered CLEAN or not, I think the best way to sum it up is this…

Clean Beauty is a product that doesn’t contain harmful chemicals such as: paragons, triclosan, phthalates, and oxybenzone.

A few years back, only stores such as Credo Beauty and The Detox Market to name a few were the only ones who genuinely offered “CLEAN BEAUTY” but now, stores such a Sephora, even Target are coming to the clean beauty party and are now offering TONS of clean products- in fact Sephora has an official “clean” seal to highlight their brands that meet the clean beauty criteria. So after tons of product testing, trial and error and everything in between, I scoured the beauty aisles to make finding a clean beauty skincare routine SO much easier. Sooooo.. if you are looking to go “CLEAN” I have you covered with the perfect Clean Beauty Skincare Routine for both day and night.

Now I do have to warn you – “clean beauty ” isn’t necessarily the cheapest but I did try to find a good mix of products that are also affordable. Obviously each routine will vary depending on your skin type and skin concern, but this routine below is perfect for someone who has normal to combination skin with a concern of anti-aging and pigmentation (either from breakouts or sun damage).

ABOUT THIS ROUTINE

This routine is perfect for someone with normal to combination skin that has a focus on anti-aging and pigmentation.

Daytime

The morning routine is focused on sun protection with a great SPF and an antioxidant/ Vitamin C serum to help block free radicals caused by the environment as well as brighten the skin.

Nighttime

This nighttime routine is focused on anti-aging with some AHA’s, a little bakuchiol (Vitamin A) and of course giving the skin much needed hydration.

**PLEASE NOTE: I only use the AHA pads 2-3 times a week, when I am not using them I use either the Goop Toner or Indie Lee Co Q10 Toner in its place. // I also use the Indie Lee Awaken Mask only 1 -2 times a week depending on how my skin feels (and NEVER on the nights I do AHA pads).

I grabbed this toner after seeing it in a magazine and I am hooked. I love that has 15% fruit acids in it to help brighten the skin, help with texture, and overall just make your skin look amazing.

This is AMAZING for my blemish prone girl. Not only does it contain 2% Salicylic Acid is literally purifies, refreshes and gently exfoliates the skin amazingly.

This serum has me hooked. It jam packed full of peptides to help minimize the appearance of fine lines resulting in plump, more youthful looking skin.

For me I like to invest in good brands that not only are making the right moves with their exceptional formulas, but also taking the time to do good for the planet as well- whether it is the packaging or the formula.
